There is a queen of modifications-supermod, which improves the whole game, and he is called DarthMod. There are modifications allowing to play for nations that in the original game are not playable, there are modifications to add new military units, changing the economy, research, etc.
Empire Total War has existed long enough for many additions (modifications) to the original gaming environment.
